NixAPI is an independent routing gateway to third-party AI models. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to this Disclaimer in full.

1. Purpose of the Service

All information, API routing services and related technical support provided by NixAPI (“NixAPI”, “we”, “us”) are made available for software development, research and general informational purposes. This Disclaimer supplements our Terms of Service.

2. Independence and trademarks

NixAPI is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, Meta, xAI, DeepSeek, Alibaba, Moonshot AI, Zhipu AI, ByteDance, MiniMax, Kuaishou, Midjourney or any other AI model developer, unless expressly stated.

All product names, model names, trademarks, logos and brand icons shown on this website belong to their respective owners. They are used solely to identify the models available through the Service and to describe compatibility. Such use does not imply any partnership or endorsement.

3. Service provided “as is”

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all materials and content made available through it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Service, or any content made available through it, will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, viruses or other harmful components, or that any defect will be corrected.

4. Third-party models and channels

NixAPI does not develop, train or host AI models. Every request is forwarded to a third-party upstream provider, which may be the model developer, a cloud platform, a reseller, an aggregation platform or another API service provider, and the channel serving a model may change at any time.

  • We do not guarantee that a model accessed through NixAPI is identical to the developer’s official offering in version, context window, parameters, supported features, speed or output quality.
  • Upstream providers may change, restrict, filter or discontinue models, or change their terms, at any time and without notice to us.
  • We make no representation or warranty regarding any upstream provider’s data handling, retention, training, security, availability or intellectual property practices, and are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

5. Model output

Content produced by AI models is generated automatically and probabilistically by third-party models. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, fabricated (“hallucinated”), outdated, biased, offensive, or infringe the rights of others. Any content, opinion, calculation or text generated does not represent the position, views or policies of NixAPI. You understand and agree that:

  • we are not responsible for the accuracy or quality of any output you receive through the Service;
  • we bear no liability for any action you take on the basis of output, or for the consequences of such action;
  • output is not medical, legal, financial, tax, investment, psychological, engineering or any other professional advice;
  • you are solely responsible for evaluating output, implementing appropriate human review and safeguards, and determining whether any model, model terms, input, output or use case meets your business, legal, security, privacy and compliance requirements.

6. Nature of the technical service

The functionality, error rates and availability of the technology behind the Service change over time. Uptime, latency, success-rate and similar figures shown on the website, the status page or in marketing materials are historical statistics, estimates or illustrative examples — not commitments, warranties or service level agreements.

Your use of the Service, and any content you obtain through it, is at your own discretion and risk. You are solely responsible for any damage to your systems or devices, or loss of data, resulting from that use, and you assume all risk arising from dealings with other users and from any content obtained through the Service.

7. Exclusion of high-risk activities

The Service and all APIs accessed through it are not certified for, and must not be used in, environments requiring high security, high reliability, fault tolerance or real-time precision, including:

  • clinical diagnosis, treatment decisions or control of medical devices;
  • aviation navigation, flight control or air traffic control;
  • nuclear facility control or hazardous materials management;
  • real-time life support or emergency response systems;
  • autonomous driving or weapons control;
  • automated execution of financial transactions without human review;
  • any other scenario in which failure or error could lead to death, personal injury, or substantial property or environmental damage.

8. Intellectual property in output

Ownership of intellectual property in model output is determined by the model terms of the relevant model developer or upstream provider. We make no representation or warranty as to the ownership, availability or non-infringement of output and accept no liability for any intellectual property dispute arising from its use. Review and comply with the applicable model terms before using output commercially.

9. Information on this website

  • Prices shown on the website are for reference. The price that applies to a request is the one shown in the console at the time of the request.
  • “Official price”, “list price”, discount and savings figures are based on publicly available information from model developers at the time of collection. Developers change their prices, and we do not guarantee that such figures are complete, accurate or current.
  • Model descriptions, capabilities, context lengths and benchmark information are summarized from third-party sources and may be inaccurate or outdated.
  • Blog posts, documentation examples and code samples are provided for general information and may not suit your use case. Test them before use in production.

We may change or remove any information on this website at any time without notice.

11. Your legal compliance

Laws governing AI services, data protection, cross-border data transfer, content and export controls vary by country and region. It is your responsibility to determine whether your use of the Service — and any product you build on it — is lawful where you and your end users are located, and to obtain any licenses, registrations or approvals required. We make no representation that the Service or any model is appropriate or available for use in any particular jurisdiction.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NixAPI and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including loss of profits, goodwill, data or other intangible losses — arising from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service, any model or any output, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute or any other legal theory. Our total liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service: the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We may modify this Disclaimer at any time without prior notice. The revised version takes effect when posted on this page, as indicated by the “Last updated” date, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; nothing here excludes or limits any warranty or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. If this Disclaimer conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevail. This Disclaimer is provided in English and Chinese; if there is any inconsistency, the Chinese version prevails.
